I had previously ordered the Vesper mid-calf boots in dark brown and I love them! I wanted to love these too but realized that although the heel is not the soft rubber heel like the Vesper. These make noise like a leather bottom heel and I prefer a "soft landing". Am returning these but will keep looking for more boots like the Vesper! I like that there is an option for store credit to avoid return shipping. I love ABEO shoes so will definitely use the store credit again soon!
